Look at me I'm so FLUFFY!!!! My name is Spark, and as you can tell I'm most definitely a Husky. I'm about 3-4 years old and get along well with other dogs. I have the personality of a typical husky with a love of all types of exercise and a fairly short attention span...can we go outside to play now? No? Are you sure? Well ok, I guess I'll tell you a bit more about myself first. I love to give kisses, even to people I've only just met. I was kept as an outside dog my entire life until my owners didn’t want me anymore and surrendered me to Freedom Farm. Since then I've been learning the ropes of house life in a foster home and love it! My foster parents think I'm housetrained, but since they haven't had me very long and I used to be an outside dog they aren't positive. I would do best in a high-energy home with people who love to go on long walks (runs are even better) and throw toys for me in the backyard. While I love everyone, I'm a very large dog that can play rough so it would be best if I went to a home without small children. I would also like the person that adopts me to be familiar with the husky breed and understand that we shed a lot, have a high prey drive, and can be professional escape artists when we have a lot of excess energy. Hello, my name is Carol (like the girl who fights zombies all the time). I'm about 5-6 months old and love to play. I get along really well with other dogs. The cats don't like me for some reason, I try to play with them all the time but they just hiss and swat at me! Spoilsports. My idea of a perfect home is one that has another dog to play with and definitely a fenced in back yard so I can run as much as I want. I'm not housetrained yet but I'm working on it! Myiah is a 2 year old Chihuahua/Jack Russell mix. She was originally turned into a shelter in New Orleans as a stray, then was transferred to Nashville Humane Association. When NHA realized that she wasn't doing well in a shelter environment, they reached out to us to see if we could help. Myiah is super sweet and affectionate. She loves to cuddle with her humans. As is common with her breed, she is high energy and can be quite bossy. 🙂 She loves to play with dogs, but would probably be just as happy to be the only pup in the home. She also lives with cats and does fine with them. SHE MUST HAVE A SECURE ABOVE GROUND FENCED YARD. Phoebe is a 7 year old Border collie mix. She lived most of her life in a 10x10 pen with her mother. The family decided to let Phoebe come into the rescue. As you can imagine, Phoebe is a little shy and learning how to be a house pet. She loves other dogs. Phoebe needs a home with another dog and someone to be patient with her. She did have ACL surgery and recovered well with it but because of her living in a small pen, she wasn’t able to properly exercise so she has arthritis and will need to be on a strong glucosamine and maybe pain meds eventually. Diva is a 3 year old Pyrenees. She could be a mix because she was found as a stray and we don't know her history. She is great in the house and is doing o.k. with some of the dogs but Diva would really like to have a home of her own. She didn't have the best start in life but she loves human attention. Nemo is a senior Chihuahua who was used as a breeding dog. He lived his first 9 years of his life in a kennel along with 80 other dogs. He was rescued last year and was heartworm positive. He's now heartworm negative. He is now neutered and had his teeth cleaned. He is still a shy boy who cowards when approached. But he's never snappy. He loves to go outside and run around. Bosley is a wonderful 3-4 year old Min Pin. He was an owner surrender to the shelter because his owner has terminal cancer and the family wouldn't take him. His foster mom doesn't understand why because he's awesome!!! He loves to sleep in the bed, he runs a plays, does well with other dogs and cats and is obsessed with a squeaker toy. Hi! My name is Denali and i'm looking for my forever home. I'm an 8 month old, american pitbull terrier and hound dog mix. My favorite activities include but are not limited to playing fetch with a tennis ball, snuggling in my bed inside my crate to have my peace and quiet times, eating (of course!) all the treats in my foster mommy's house, guarding my yard from all of the birds and squirrels that walk by, kissing my foster baby hooman on the forehead, long walks on the dog park grass, running around in an open field with my foster sister, and cuddling in and feeling the love of a hooman! I once didn't come from such a happy and nice place but since meeting my foster mommy, everything has changed. She promised one day I will find the perfect family to love me and i'm sure it will be soon! Please consider me as your next forever family member. Addie is a sweet girl who came to us from animal control. We don't know her history but we can tell it wasn't a good. She is very shy. She would curl up in the corner if you went to take off your belt. She's getting better in her foster home but will need a family that understands and is patient with her. Hi there, my name is Justice! I'm a 5-6 year old Jack Russell Terrier/Pomeranian mix. When I first got into my foster home, I was so nervous that I slept in the laundry room and just shook for the first week. Now I feel much more comfortable and follow my foster mom around the house all the time. I get along with other dogs and cats, and I'll even try to play with some of cats. They don't always appreciate it, but I don't understand why since playing is the best thing ever! I'm still working on my housetraining, but doing pretty well if I may say so myself (my foster parents agree, so I'm not just saying that). They keep me in a room with a baby gate during the day, and I'm proud to say I haven't had any accidents so far! I love to run and jump on the couch, but stairs are a bit of a challenge for me because I have luxating patellas, which is a condition where my knees pop out of socket and then pop back into place. If you have a lot of stairs I may need to be carried up and down, but at just about 11 pounds I'm not even a burden!
